Research Scholar
Daniela is Colombian specifically from Bucaramanga, Santander. She was born in a family with agricultural roots and love for the land and there grew her love for the countryside and animals. She graduated in 2020 with a focus on veterinary studies at the University of Santander UDES, then she worked as a commercial sales in the livestock sector for two years. During her undergraduate studies, Daniela participated in research groups that linked livestock, extension, and agricultural sustainability where Daniela developed a particular interest in cattle nutrition research. In 2022, she started her master’s degree at the State University of São Paulo UNESP where she is currently researching production, nutrition, and meat quality in Nelore cattle with molecular approaches. Most recently, Daniela is working as Research Scholar with AgNext at Colorado State University.
