Doctoral Student
Cesar Velasquez is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Animal Sciences at Colorado State University. Cesar started his Ph.D. studies during the Fall of 2023 under the supervision of Dr. Pedro Carvalho. He completed his Bachelor of Agronomist Engineering from the Pan-American School of Agriculture in Honduras. More recently, he completed his Master’s degree in Animal Science at Clemson, SC, in 2023. Cesar‘s interest in working with livestock began in Honduras on his family’s dairy farm in which they produce crossbred cattle. At AgNext, Cesar aims to identify the potential benefits of crossbreeding, including the environmental and societal benefits for producers.
