AgNext Contributes to the Colorado Farm Show

AgNext Contributes to the Colorado Farm Show

AgNext faculty and staff had a great time at the Colorado Farm Show this week! The Colorado Farm Show is the 4th largest farm show in the country. This was an excellent opportunity for our team to promote AgNext from our Climate-Smart Research Facility to our world-renowned faculty

We were proud to have a huge presence at the Farm Show. Four of our faculty presented at educational sessions all three days of the show. We also had an AgNext booth in the Exhibition Building where we made connections with CSU alum and future students throughout the week. We also met with several producers from around the state and had the opportunity to hear their stories and share some of our research objectives.

Here’s a quick recap of our week at the Colorado Farm Show:

Outreach and Engagement at our AgNext Booth:

The AgNext Communication team hosted an engagement table at the Colorado Farm Show – we connected with several CSU alum, high school students and producers from around the state.

As part of our outreach, the AgNext Faculty sought input and feedback from producers and farm show attendees to get a better understanding of what our stakeholders may need in regard to our educational materials and research focus.  We intend to analyze these results and share with our faculty.

Our team really enjoyed meeting and talking with folks from around the state – hope to see you again next year!
