Assistant Professor, Clinician 

Dr. Sarah Raabis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences and is a clinician for the Livestock Medicine and Surgery Service at CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She is a boarded large animal internist with over a decade of practice experience in food animal medicine with a special emphasis on dairy calf population health. Her research focuses on investigating the host pathogen interactions between the gut and lung microbiota of dairy calves and Salmonella Dublin. Sarah received her DVM from Tufts University and completed a large animal internal medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her PhD in Comparative Biomedical Sciences and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before joining the faculty at CSU.
