Our Team | Maya Swenson
Graduate Student
Maya is a research intern for AgNext in the Department of Animal Sciences. She will be completing the final year of her undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Animals Sciences this May and is excited to begin graduate school the following summer with AgNext at CSU. Maya was born and raised in the Northern California town, Yreka, where she found her passion for agriculture and livestock production. She has a great appreciation for understanding where food comes from and hopes to promote agriculture further through her research of sustainable practices.
