Sustainable Beef Cattle Systems Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Eduardo M. Paula is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Sustainable Beef Cattle Systems at AgNext. Before joining AgNext, Eduardo served as Research Associate at the Animal Science Research Institute – Sustainable Livestock Center in São Paulo, Brazil. He has excellent expertise in ruminant nutrition and in vitro fermentation systems. His work has primarily focused on feeding strategies to enhance animal health, performance, and sustainability by reducing enteric methane emissions in beef animals under tropical conditions. Eduardo holds a B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science from the State University of Maringa, Brazil, and a Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Reno. He also completed a Postdoctoral position at the Department of Animal Science at the University of Florida. He is enthusiastic about advancing sustainable practices in beef cattle systems and is eager to contribute with his expertise to the innovative research team at AgNext.
