Caiki is a Research Scholar at AgNext, where he contributes to applied research in beef cattle feedlot systems, focusing on data collection, performance evaluation, and system optimization. Prior to joining Agnext, Caiki held leadership positions at major meat industry companies such as JBS and Marfrig, overseeing technical and operational projects across Brazil’s meat sector.

Originally from Brazil, Caiki earned a PhD in Economic Evaluation and Agricultural Systems Management from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). With over 10 years of experience, he has led initiatives in traceability, auditing, and data-driven management. Notably, he helped develop “ACABOI,” an AI-based bovine carcass classification system implemented at PECBR Agribusiness Solutions, a consulting and certification firm operating in Brazil and Bolivia.

In his current role, Caiki aims to integrate science, data, and field operations to promote sustainable and high-impact solutions in global livestock production.
