Our Team | Ashley Schilling-Hazlett

Doctoral Student
Ashley Schilling-Hazlett is a graduate student at CSU in the Department of Animal Sciences. Ashley is studying Sustainable Livestock Systems in the AgNext program under Dr. Kim Stackhouse-Lawson. She grew up in Timnath, Colorado just east of Fort Collins. Her first experiences in agriculture stemmed from her involvement in the Larimer County 4-H program where she raised and showed cattle, sheep, and goats at county, state, and national levels. Ashley completed her undergraduate degree at CSU this past May with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, minors in Agricultural Business and Agricultural Literacy, and received a Certificate in Meat Science. Outside of her academic interests, Ashley loves to show and raise livestock with her friends and family and travel.
