The 2023 Fall Forum at Colorado State University serves as an extension event that draws extension agents from across the state. AgNext’s participation in this event demonstrates our commitment to connecting with extension agents to share the mission and vision of AgNext.
During the Fall Forum, AgNext faculty and staff gave brief presentations about the work they are involved with. This provided extension agents with a comprehensive preview of the work AgNext does related to finding more sustainable solutions for animal agriculture.
In addition to these presentations, the AgNext team took an active role in facilitating discussions with the attending extension agents. The purpose of this facilitated discussion was to actively engage with extension agents, seeking to understand their needs and priorities and how AgNext could serve to make those needs and priorities come to fruition. This dialogue allowed our team to gain valuable insights into what is most important to the extension agents who work to extend Colorado State University beyond the campus and reach communities.

This dynamic interaction between AgNext and the extension agents served to strengthen the bridge between academia and the community even further. By actively involving extension agents and valuing their perspectives, AgNext demonstrated its commitment to co-creating real-time solutions for sustainable animal agriculture.
We’re proud to support CSU’s Office of Extension and Engagement whenever possible. AgNext looks forward to fostering these connections between industry partners across CSU’s College of Agriculture.
AgNext at Colorado State University exemplifies the commitment to advancing the science of animal agriculture while promoting sustainability and community well-being. Our participation in the 2023 Fall Forum demonstrates our team’s dedication to knowledge dissemination, collaboration, and active engagement with extension agents. As we move forward with our research and developing strategic priorities, input from the extension agents will be critical.
